.
The general story line is: born in France, lived on a tropical island, moved to freezing cold Canada and now living in the US.
Wait, why? Well, life and decisions happen.
I studied: Office Systems Technology for 3 years (DEC) and Electronic Technology – Audiovisual for 3 years (DEC) *[Studies note]
Photography-wise: I invested in my full frame Nikon D850 camera in 2019 with the intention of shooting landscapes. Now, this didn’t quite happen, since I gamed heavily on World of Warcraft. **[Insert black hole here]. It still got me a foot in the photography world and I started studying composition and photo editing more in depth.
Then… On a full moon night, I decided to pick up my 70-300mm zoom and aim at the moon. I was quite impressed by the amount of details coming from a simple zoom lens and it sparked my interest into the skies. I then discovered nebulae photography online and it got me really interested. Later on, I invested in a motorized EQ mount, telescope, light pollution filter and finally got my first monochrome camera in 2022.
While our naked eyes can’t see much looking up, with proper equipment and a LOT of patience for processing, it is just amazing what we can still get from the Earth. Pushing the curves in Photoshop and bringing these very dark pictures to life is such a satisfying feeling. I never thought I’d love a hobby so much and I’m so happy I found it.
I hope you enjoy the views as much as I do. Cheers!

*[Studies note]
Office Systems technology means secretary and administrative studies. Which definitely wasn’t a choice by passion, but in the end, it helped a lot keeping things professional and with WORK organization skills.
I specify WORK, because personal desk and personal disk management are a totally different story 🙂
**[Black hole reference]
For gaming reference: our team pushed competitive PvP (Player vs Player) games and we ended up in the 0.5% top players for Rated Battlegrounds (10vs10 players games). And that represents… a good amount of time spent (arguably, wasted!) of these past years.
